Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and meet new people, often and early on during your internship. Invite people to go to lunch with you or see if they need help with anything. Helping others is a great way to connect with them.

    Well, if you have the opportunity to do so, you could try to do little things like commute together to work. I am getting to know my fellow interns just by riding the train together and sharing our experiences because we rarely see each other during the day.
