Question- Nicole Wilson from Harvard asks how she can go about letting other professionals in her network know where she will be working this summer- and keep the channels of communication open. It is important that you communicate with HR or business professionals you have met at different companies through the internship search process- and emails are a good way to do this. You should be writing to them before you start your internship- to let them know what your plans for the summer are- and more so to reiterate your interest in talking to them about full time opportunities at the end of the summer (if that is indeed the case). It would make sense to ask about their early interview process and how you can participate in it. If needed, have your coach review a draft of the email you plan to send out.
