Tailor Your Resume First

Then, scout, determine and confirm potential professional and personal references to build your network and inquire about job openings via email. Also, ask your supervisor for a performance evaluation at the end of your internship in order to determine your new strengths and points of improvement. Joette Jones (University of Georgia) says you should sculpt your resume to reflect your experience and demonstrate your knowledge of the industry; in turn, exhibiting your eagerness to pursue a full-time position in the field.
You can form informal mentorships by finding those people in your workplace whose work ethic you genuinely admire. Find out how to get in touch with this person, and ask them out for a coffee, lunch, or simply 15 minutes of their time. Make sure you explain what you admire about them, and ask for their advice on what you should be doing to ensure that you work in the industry you admire. Keep in touch with this person regularly, and invite them to hang out with you outside of work when appropriate
