Asking for Feedback

Who do you ask for feedback- Typically you should ask your supervisor for feedback, someone who assigns and oversees your work. However it is important to understand if the process is different at your company. Samuel Rugunda from Connecticut College says at Citi where he will be interning this summer, his recruiters have suggested he go to them first for feedback. Marvis Burns from Cornell suggests a 360 degree approach to asking for feedback- ask your manager, team members and even other interns working in your group for honest, constructive feedback. If the feedback is positive thank them for it- but since there is always room for improvement follow up with asking them about areas of development.
